The CROSSRC EMO X6 Big Hippo and CROSSRC EMO XL3 Big Wild Elephant are 1/8 scale off-road RC crawlers with different drivetrain layouts. The X6 uses a 4x4 layout, while the XL3 uses a 6x6 layout with three driven axles. Both models combine a finished PC body shell, a modular engineering-plastic cargo bed, a heavy-duty stamped steel chassis frame, portal axles, a two-speed transmission and linked lighting.
Choose from ARTR, brushed and brushless versions. Included electronics depend on the selected version. Battery and charger inclusion depends on the Battery+Chargers option selected on the product page.

Two Drivetrain Layouts
The CROSSRC EMO X6 Big Hippo is a 4x4 crawler. The CROSSRC EMO XL3 Big Wild Elephant is a 6x6 crawler with three driven axles. Choose the X6 for a four-wheel-drive layout or the XL3 for six-wheel drive and its three-axle chassis.
Two-Speed Transmission and Portal Axles
Both models use a two-speed transmission for selecting a lower gear for controlled crawling or a higher gear for faster trail driving. Reinforced portal axles, full-metal gearbox gears and full-metal bevel gears form part of the drivetrain. The self-balancing slipper plate features a tool-free quick-disconnect design for noise suppression at the motor input and added protection for the main gear.
Steel Chassis and Linked Suspension
The heavy-duty chassis uses a stamped steel scale frame with steel chassis links and rear stabilizer links. A four-link suspension layout and 20 mm CNC hydraulic shocks with crawler-style springs support wheel movement over uneven ground. The chassis also includes a servo protection system.
PC Body and Modular Cargo Bed
Each crawler has a finished PC body shell and a modular cargo bed made from engineering plastic. The body uses a quick-release design, and the rear cargo box is removable. A tow hook and scale details complete the utility-truck design.
Metal Drivetrain Components
The drivetrain includes a 60T M0.8 nylon silent spur gear, full-metal gearbox and bevel gears, a metal universal-joint center driveshaft, steel front CVD half-shafts and straight steel rear half-shafts. ABEC-3 bearings are used throughout the vehicle.
Crawler Tires and Beadlock Wheels
Both models use custom VELICIRAPTOR crawling tires with nylon beadlock rims and a 15 mm hex. The tread is designed for traction on rock, sand, mud and mixed off-road surfaces.
Linked Lighting
The factory-installed linked high-power lighting system includes a strobe mode. Lighting is included across the listed versions.
