YIKONG YK4082 V3 1/8 Scale 4WD RTR Rock Crawler with LED Lights
The YIKONG YK4082 V3 is a 1/8 scale 4WD RTR rock crawler designed for controlled trail driving and technical off-road routes. It combines an upgraded gearbox and revised rear-axle transmission with a 775 brushed motor, two-speed transmission, remotely operated front and rear differential locks, and a controllable lighting system.
Key Features
Updated V3 Gearbox and Weight Distribution
The V3 gearbox and rear-axle transmission have been updated from the earlier YK4082 layout. The motor is positioned 32 mm farther forward, the battery tray 70.5 mm forward, and the center of gravity 13.8 mm lower. These changes revise the vehicle’s weight distribution for crawling.
4WD Drivetrain with Selectable Functions
The 4WD drivetrain features a two-speed transmission and remotely operated front and rear differential locks. These functions allow drivers to select the drivetrain setup suited to the route and driving conditions.
775 Brushed Motor and Waterproof ESC
The crawler uses a high-torque 775 brushed motor and a Hobbywing 880 waterproof brushed ESC. YIKONG lists ESC support for 2S–4S LiPo and NiMH batteries, while recommending 2S–3S LiPo. Confirm battery compatibility before operation.
Scale Body and Transmitter-Controlled Lighting
The PVC body is available in Dark Red, Reflex Blue, Silver Blue and Sun Yellow. The installed lighting system is controlled through the transmitter. Is the YK4082 V3 ready to run?
