* CROSSRC BT8 "Rhino" is a 4-axle, 8-wheel drive APC (BTR80), produced in the 1980s, capable of carrying a crew of 3 plus 7 passengers. It is still used in many countries and in peacekeeping forces.
* CROSSRC BT8 adopts an independent all-metal suspension structure on all 8 wheels, which greatly improves the strength and shock resistance of the driving system.
* CROSSRC BT8 independent suspensions are based on the real model , using 8 sets of torsion bars to cooperate with 12 shock absorbers , which have sufficient support and do not lose the pivoting posture. You can adjust the damping effect by changing the torsion bar group.
* CROSSRC BT8 all-wheel steering uses dual steering ratios on axles 1, 2 and axles 3 and 4 respectively. Through the mixture control operation, after adjusting the appropriate front and rear steering ratio, the minimum turning radius can be be reduced to 530mm.
*  CrossRC pioneered the "straight axis all-drive" belt transmission system with dynamic simulation model. The lightweight transmission structure reduces weight and improves transmission efficiency, further lowering the vehicle's center of gravity and improving maneuverability when crossing.
* CROSSRC BT8 is equipped with a two-speed gearbox , metal gears with a PTO. The gearbox adapts 0.8 modulus machined metal gears, which can adapt to different types of transmission systems.
* CROSSRC BT8 is amphibious and uses a water jet as a propulsion system while sailing. We designed two independent propulsion or PTO gearbox modes for users to choose what to install.
* CROSSRC BT8 design divides the driving module and equipment module into compartments, separating dry and wet areas. Each connection level of the module adopts a sealed and waterproof design, which effectively reduces the difficulty of maintenance after playing in the water.
* CROSSRC BT8 Similar to the real model, the BT8 is equipped with a retractable wave pusher (water baffle), which can prevent water from overflowing into the body when floating in the water.
* CROSSRC BT8 upper structure is equipped with a 360° rotating turret , the barrel is made of CNC machined aluminum and it can be controlled up and down. The machine gun, smoke devices, infrared night vision devices are extremely detailed.
* CROSSRC BT8 bodywork includes various metal tow hooks, cables, crash guards and external infantry armrests.

CROSSRC BT8 is a complex model requiring multiple channels for proper operation. You will need at least six channels to operate, in most cases a twin stick or air style transmitter. Most pistol grip transmitters do not have the capability to properly operate all functions.

The CROSSRC BT8 utilizes an all-metal, 8-wheel independent suspension setup, significantly enhancing the strength and impact resistance of its drivetrain.
The CROSSRC BT8's independent 8-wheel suspension system is modeled after real vehicles, utilizing 8 sets of torsion bars and 12 shock absorbers. This provides ample support while maintaining the vehicle's body roll characteristics. Players can also fine-tune the damping performance by swapping out the torsion bar sets.
The CROSSRC BT8's all-wheel steering system employs dual steering actuators to independently control axles 1&2 and axles 3&4. Through combined mixing operation, once the appropriate front/rear steering ratio is adjusted, it achieves an exceptionally tight turning radius of just 0.53 meters.
The CROSSRC BT8 is the first dynamic scale model to adopt a "straight-axle all-wheel belt drive system." This lightweight drivetrain reduces overall vehicle weight, increases drivetrain efficiency, further lowers the center of gravity, and enhances handling performance when navigating obstacles.
The CROSSRC BT8 is equipped with an all-metal gear two-speed transmission featuring a power take-off (PTO) unit. This transmission utilizes M0.8 module full-metal gears and is compatible with various types of power systems.
The CROSSRC BT8 is based on a reference prototype that features buoyancy and utilizes a water jet thruster for propulsion in water. We have designed two driving modes for users to choose and install: an independently motor-driven setup and a gearbox-powered drive system.
The amphibious design of the CROSSRC BT8 places the drive module and electronics module in separate, isolated compartments, effectively creating distinct dry and wet zones. Each layered module connection is sealed for waterproofing, which significantly reduces the maintenance required after use on water.
Scale Appearance: Like the real vehicle, the CROSSRC BT8 is equipped with retractable spray guards (splash guards) that effectively prevent water from washing over the body when afloat.
