What is the difference between the EMO XX Ultra Sword Dragon and the EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon?
The EMO XX Ultra Sword Dragon has a 4x4 drivetrain, while the EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon has a 6x6 drivetrain. Both are 1/6 scale Ultra crawlers with a pre-assembled PC body, a stamped steel frame, CNC hydraulic shocks and aluminum suspension links.
What is the difference between ARTR and RTR Brushless?
The ARTR version is pre-assembled and includes the transmission and differential servos and model-specific tools. It does not include the motor, ESC, steering servo, transmitter, receiver, battery or charger.
The RTR Brushless version includes a Hobbywing 4985 1650KV brushless motor, Hobbywing 150A ESC, 70 kg steering servo, three 25 kg transmission and differential servos, DumboRC X6 6-channel transmitter and synchronized LED lighting.
Which battery does the RTR Brushless version use?
The RTR Brushless electronics support 3S to 6S LiPo batteries. The battery compartment measures 16 × 8 × 5.5 cm. The optional battery package includes one XT60 11.1 V 50C 3S 5200 mAh LiPo battery. Check the selected Battery+Chargers option before ordering; a battery and charger are not included by default.
Are the battery and charger included?
Battery and charger inclusion depends on the selected Battery+Chargers option. Select “Included” to add the listed battery and SKYRC MAX B6AC 80W balance charger. The charger is optional.
Can I choose different tires?
Yes. The product options include rock tires and mud tires. Select the tire type when choosing the vehicle configuration.
What upgrades are included in the Ultra version?
The Ultra models include an all-metal driveshaft, upgraded transmission pins, an upgraded servo saver and steering linkage, metal front protection components with spotlights, and a metal roll cage. The EMO XX Ultra platform also has a 55 mm extended wheelbase.
What is included with each version?
The ARTR package includes the pre-assembled vehicle, transmission and differential servos, and model-specific tools. The RTR Brushless package includes the assembled vehicle and the listed brushless electronics, radio system and lighting. Battery and charger inclusion depends on the selected option.
Is the EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon 6x6 difficult to transport?
The EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon is a large 1/6 scale truck. Plan for adequate storage and transport space before choosing the 6x6 configuration.
What should I check before driving?
Before the first run, check that the wheels, suspension links and drivetrain fasteners are secure. Confirm the motor pinion and gear mesh, then inspect the drivetrain after demanding runs. This is especially useful when setting up a high-torque crawler.
