The CROSSRC EMOX NT Wild Boar is a 1/8 scale 4WD RC crawler developed for mud trails, loose ground, rocky routes and other off-road terrain. Following four years of development of the EMO X chassis platform, the CROSSRC EMOX NT Wild Boar combines a lightweight metal tubular frame, permanent four-wheel drive, heavy-duty portal axles and large mud-terrain tires in a scale-inspired mud rally design.
The CROSSRC EMOX NT chassis platform is further developed for the CROSSRC EMOX NT Wild Boar with a layout designed for a low center of gravity and torsional rigidity. The tubular frame supports the vehicle’s structure, while the Ø13.6 cm mud-terrain tires are designed for traction across loose, muddy and slippery surfaces. The 1/8 scale chassis measures 70.5 cm long and has a 43 cm wheelbase.
The CROSSRC EMOX NT Wild Boar combines a two-speed transmission with remotely controlled front and rear differential locks. Low gear supports controlled crawling over technical terrain, while high gear is suited to faster trail sections. The front and rear differential locks can be operated independently from the transmitter so the driver can select the available traction setup for changing terrain.
