The FLYWING Airwolf 470 brings one of the most recognizable helicopter designs from television into a modern scale RC helicopter platform.

Built around a 470-class airframe, this version combines the Airwolf-style fuselage with the FLYWING ACE flight control system, GNSS positioning and automatic retractable landing gear. It is designed for RC pilots who want a scale helicopter that looks convincing on the ground and remains practical to fly outdoors.

A SCALE AIRWOLF BUILT FOR FLYING:

The FLYWING Airwolf 470 design is instantly recognizable from its black-and-white fuselage, streamlined cockpit and compact tail section. FLYWING has refined the proportions of the new 470-class version and added more scale details throughout the fuselage.

The model features detailed rivet and panel textures, auxiliary jet nozzle details, side-mounted scale accessories and a belly-mounted rocket launcher-style detail. The result is a helicopter that works equally well as a display model and as a flying RC aircraft.

AUTOMATIC RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR:

The retractable landing gear is one of the defining features of this FLYWING Airwolf 470 model.

After takeoff, the landing gear can retract automatically as the helicopter climbs. During landing, it extends again as the aircraft descends. The pilot can also control the landing gear manually from the transmitter.

With the gear retracted, the fuselage keeps the clean silhouette that makes the Airwolf design so distinctive.

ACE FLIGHT CONTROL AND GNSS POSITIONING:

The FLYWING Airwolf 470 uses the FLYWING ACE flight control system together with multi-link GNSS positioning.

The system is designed to make outdoor hovering more manageable while providing several flight-assistance functions, including GPS stabilization, soft takeoff and landing assistance, return-to-home functions and coordinated turning.

The current ACE system provides three selectable control modes:

Soft Mode: Smooth response for getting familiar with the helicopter

Normal Mode: Balanced response for everyday scale flying

Sport Mode: Faster and more responsive control for pilots who want a more active flying experience

Coordinated Turning also adds roll input according to flight speed, helping the helicopter maintain a more natural bank angle during turns.

470-CLASS BRUSHLESS POWER SYSTEM:

TheFLYWING Airwolf 470 uses a 3508-class brushless main motor with a 60A dual-processor ESC and a 4S LiPo power system.

The drivetrain uses full-metal gears, while the two-blade rotor system uses a quick-release blade design for easier installation and transport.

The rotor blades use a NACA-style airfoil profile, designed around the requirements of the 470-class helicopter.

AROUND 23 MINUTES OF REFERENCE FLIGHT TIME:

FLYWING reports a maximum reference flight time of approximately 23 minutes under windless hover testing at sea level.

Actual flight time depends on battery condition, weather, temperature, flying style and the amount of maneuvering during the flight.

The helicopter uses a 4S LiPo 5000mAh Battery system with two-stage voltage protection to help manage battery power during outdoor flying.

Stable GPS-Assisted Flight:

With satellite positioning active, the FLYWING Airwolf 470 is designed to maintain a stable outdoor hover.

THE PUBLISHED REFERENCE FIGURES ARE APPROXIMATELY:

Horizontal Hovering Accuracy: ±1.5 m

Vertical Hovering Accuracy: ±0.5 m

These figures apply when satellite positioning is functioning normally and should not be treated as guaranteed positioning accuracy in every flying environment.

DESIGNED FOR RC HOBBY PILOTS:

The FLYWING Airwolf 470 is a good choice for RC helicopter enthusiasts who care about scale appearance as much as flight performance.

IT WORKS WELL FOR:

- Scale RC helicopter flying
- Outdoor RC flying
- Airwolf collectors
- RC helicopter enthusiasts
- Scale model displays
- GPS-assisted helicopter flying
- Pilots looking for a 470-class helicopter

The FLYWING Airwolf 470 is supplied as an RTF configuration, making it a practical option for pilots who want a complete helicopter package rather than starting with a bare airframe or electronics kit.
